Warbler

First attempt at using gouache as a medium. This speed-painting was referenced from Josh Galicki’s Yellow-throated Warbler photo. I struggled a bit with the way dried gouache can blend with top layers. You can see this in the background, where I struggled to build up opacity. Hopefully, I’ll get better with the medium.

Medium: Reeve’s gouache on 90lb watercolor paper
Size: 15cm x 11.5cm
Time: 2-3 hours

  1. You really make it appear so easy with your presentation however I in finding this matter to be really one thing
that I think I’d by no means understand. It sort of feels too complicated
and extremely vast for me. I am taking a look

    the hold of it!

made my day. You cann’t imagine just how much time I had spent for
    this information! Thanks!
